TRIA can do for you. |

Does TRIA
really work? As with any innovation,
trusting the experts is key. The same scientists
and engineers who pioneered medical-grade laser
technologies in the 1990s developed TRIA.
Harnessing scientifically proven diode-laser
technology to target hair growth beneath the
skin, TRIA delivers long-term hair removal
results.

Where on
my face and body can TRIA be
used? On individuals with white to
light brown skin, TRIA can safely be used on
these areas of the face and body: Nape of the
neck, underarms, bikini line, legs, back, chest,
abdomen, shoulders, feet, hands, upper lips
(women only), and chins (women only).
WARNING: TRIA is not safe for
everyone and will not work for everyone.

|
Is TRIA
painful to use? TRIA allows you to
select three levels of intensity appropriate to
your degree of sensitivity. Most individuals
will experience slight discomfort while using
TRIA.
Discomfort usually subsides at the end of each
laser hair removal session and can usually be
alleviated by selecting a lower intensity
setting. |

How
often should I use TRIA? For best
results, TRIA should be used every two to four
weeks until desired results are
achieved. |

|
How
soon will I see results? Laser hair
removal results are not instant. Hair follicles
that have been disabled must "eject" the hair
from the skin (which usually takes 2-3 weeks).
And, because all hairs are not in the "active"
growth phase at the same time, multiple laser
hair removal sessions are usually needed before
visible results can be seen. |

Are
there any side effects? While not
common, the most often reported side effects
during the
safety and efficacy study were temporary
redness and minor swelling in the skin area
where TRIA was used. You may feel warmth,
burning, tingling, itching or pain while using
the device, but the sensation should subside
immediately after use. Potential side effects
(like redness and swelling) may last for up to
several hours, but can last several days.. If
you experience excessive discomfort while using
TRIA, try a lower intensity setting.

Is TRIA effective on white,
grey, blond or red hairs on the face and
body? No.
White, grey, blond and red hairs do not have
enough pigment to absorb the laser light. As a
result, TRIA is not effective when used on these
hair colors. |

I
have dark brown or black skin. Can I use
TRIA? To prevent skin injury, DO NOT
use TRIA on medium brown, dark brown or black
skin. TRIA should only be used on white to light
brown skin.

a man use TRIA on his beard? The
amount of hair in a man's beard can be very
dense making TRIA especially painful when used
on the beard area. Therefore, men should NOT use
TRIA on their beards.

Do
I need to wear goggles? When used as
directed, TRIA's unique patent-pending
Diffuse Radiance TechnologyT diffuses
the laser's light so that it is safe for
personal at-home use-without goggles.
Additionally, TRIA has three contact sensors to
safeguard against misuse. If all three contact
sensors are not touching the skin, the device
will not emit a pulse of light, thus reducing
the eye hazards commonly associated with laser
devices.
